Hiley's Maceroones

1 lb Almonds
2 lb Sugar
2 oz Rice Flour
with the whits of 10 Eggs
pound the sugar and almonds
together in a mortar then run
them through a flour sieve
then pound (?) about (?) 1/2 lb sugar
and almonds in a thin mixture
then add the remainder
then flavour with salifat (?)
